Cairo Governorate Projects Management office (PMO)

Grater Cairo is the largest municipality in Egypt, with over 22 million-population city. Cairo Governorate is the local authority responsible for all local services like transportation, waste management, health care, education facilities… The Governor office had different mega projects and programs cross-functional and multi discipline. These programs were over EGP 2 billion and faced lack of strategic alignment and weak coordination between multiple stakeholders in and outside the Governorate. The project aim to develop a Project Management office (PMO) • Align Strategy objectives with projects portfolio. • Standardized project management process. • Strategic Projects Road Map for Cairo 2020. • Manage a set of mega projects as: urban infrastructure, upgrading informal areas, waste management .

Strategic Vision for Cairo 2020

The project aims to define a strategic vision for Cairo governorate development plan. To increase public value, align with the National objectives, set strategic priorities. Allocate funds & investment, address strategic challenges, create public awareness, and prepare the organizational capacity. In align with Public Value Management standards and New Public Management concepts.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Award for Smart Government

Evaluate and assess smart government projects submitted by different government agencies to enhance public service and citizen services in Dubai. The projects included Police and Traffic, Transportation, Health Care and Telecommunication.

Sultan Qaboos Award for Excellence in E-Government

Evaluate and assess smart government projects submitted by different government agencies to enhance public service and citizen services in Oman. The projects included Police and Traffic, Transportation, Health Care and Telecommunication.
