Academic Qualifications

I hold a PhD in Applied Economics and Political Science from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. My research focuses on developing national competitiveness frameworks and strategies, in addition to policy analysis and governance technology. In addition, I hold a master’s degree in philosophy of science from Maastricht University, the Netherlands, with a specialization in e-government and government reform. And a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Planning from Harriot Watt University in England.

Throughout my academic career, I have been involved in several research activities, with a particular focus on government development, economic development, and digital governance. My research has been published in several prestigious academic journals and presented at international conferences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in my areas of expertise.

These publications cover a wide range of topics including national competitiveness, governance technology, and smart cities, reflecting the depth of my research interests.
• Conference presentations: I presented my research results at various international conferences, including the International Conference on Electronic Government Theory and Practice (ICEGOV) and the European Union Conference on Information Systems (ECIS). These presentations provided valuable insights and perspectives to the academic community and policymakers alike.
• Research Fellowships: I had the honor of serving as a research fellow at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB) and as a research fellow at the Center for Technology in Government in New York.
